It depends. It may be important to you, but is it important in terms of getting well? If you break down the word dis-ease, you can see it simply means the body is not at ease. All disease or illness has a root issue or possibly more than one. The body is not separate parts hooked together by connective tissues. It functions as a whole. Like an orchestra. Thus the parts of the body support one another and each one is vital to the whole. When one part is missing or malfunctioning, the body has to compensate. The name of a disease does not necessarily tell you the root cause of it.
